Factors affecting image quality & gender reveal
- Amount of Amniotic Fluid. Be sure to drink the recommended 8-10 glasses of water per day in the weeks leading up to your ultrasound appointment.
- Position of the Baby. It is ideal for the baby to be positioned with the head down low, near the cervix and facing upwards towards your stomach.
- Gestational Age of Baby; 26-32 weeks for best results.
- Activity Level of Baby. Ideally your baby is awake and active during your ultrasound. *to get baby moving, you could drink something cold and sugary 30 minutes before your appointment time.
