A mammography uses X-ray technology to image the breasts. Our advanced screening technology uses the lowest possible dose of radiation to generate an image. That image is then interpreted by our radiologists to aid in the early diagnosis of breast abnormalities. WEDI is a fully accredited site for OBSP screening mammograms. Any abnormalities detected by a screening mammography are immediately triaged for a follow-up evaluation with ultrasound to expedite diagnosis and treatment.
